After years of dreaming and procrastination, I am finally building a boat. This will be an 18 foot dory. My plan is to rig her as a cat-schooner and mount an electric trolling motor to the bottom as an auxiliary.
I am using white oak for all frames and holding it all together with West System epoxy. The transom is African Mahogany.
The following pictures represent a visual diary of my progress.

Hurricane Hanna dumped so much rain on us that the weight
of the water in the tarp broke a temporary support and a
few of the glued joints. I bought one of those instant
garages to protect my baby through the winter months.
